Question: How did you find out about Vic?
Answer: Through the local PennySaver. I felt very fortunate in finding him because there are so many people out there who advertise in the construction business and they turn out to be absolute nightmares.

I called Vic and I went to see him. I liked him instantly.

Question: Why?
Answer: His personality, the way he talked, the way he handles himself. Honest guy. I knew right off the bat he was the guy to do the bathroom.

I had a couple of other estimates but there was no question, no doubt in my mind that Vic was the man for the job.

Question: Were the other estimates you received about equal to Vics’?
Answer: They were about equal. One was a little bit more. Even if I had gotten estimates under him, I would have gone with him.

Question: Did he keep to the estimate?
Answer: Right to the penny.

Question: Did he do it on time?
Answer: Yeah, he did it on time. Ran into a little problem with the electrical work but his electrician worked on it. Ran into a little problem but it worked out; no aggravation, no nothing.

Question: When he did the demolition, did he clean it up?
Answer: Yes. They came the day they were supposed to come, did the demolition, carted everything away, swept up, and left no mess, nothing.

Question: Were the guys installing the bathroom courteous, polite?
Answer: They were great. I was working at the time so we weren’t home most of the time. Left them alone. Gave them the key to the house. No problems. Didn’t worry about a thing.

Question: Would you recommend him to your best friend?
Answer: I’d recommend him to anybody. I wouldn’t hesitate.

Question: He does kitchens and bathrooms. Would you use him to renovate your kitchen?
Answer: Well, the standing joke between Vic and I is that as soon as I hit the Lotto, he’s coming back here to do my kitchen.

Question: Did he give you a drawing or sketch?
Answer: He did a little sketch but what really boggled my mind about him was the first time he came here, I told him that my wife was in charge of this project. We went upstairs to the bathroom and my wife explained everything to him but I noticed he didn’t make any notes. Didn’t make any notes and I just kept watching. So when we were finished, he stayed upstairs and said he would be down in a few minutes. He took some measurements then came down. He had made his list. He remembered everything my wife had said. And I knew this guy was the one. That impressed me. I was just flabbergasted.

Question: Anything further to say about Vic?
Answer: If I have trouble with the caulking because sometimes it loosens around the tub, all I do is call him. Now this job was done last year but he’ll still come back and doesn’t charge.

Question: Everything is working. No leaks?
Answer: Everything is fine. No leaks. Love the bathroom. People come here and they rave about the bathroom.
